About Mister Railing: one trade, done properly
We fabricate and install guards and handrails across the Greater Toronto Area, and we don’t take on anything else.
The whole idea
Specialists beat generalists on railings
Most railings in the GTA are installed by someone whose main business is decks, fencing or general contracting. The railing is the last line item, quoted from a catalogue and handed to whoever is free that week.
That’s where the problems come from. Posts land where the framing isn’t blocked, glass arrives cut to the wrong angle and a handrail goes in at a height nobody measured.
None of it is bad intent, it’s just the tenth priority on someone else’s job. We built Mister Railing around the opposite bet: a shop that does nothing but guards and handrails gets the structure, the heights and the finish right, because there’s nothing else on the truck.
How we work
Four rules we don’t bend

We measure it ourselves
No quoting from photos alone: someone stands on your stairs with a tape before a number goes in writing. Photos get you a ballpark, not a price.

You see a drawing first
Panel sizes, post positions and heights go on paper before any material is ordered. Changes at that stage cost nothing.
- 03
We build to the measure
Everything is fabricated to your dimensions in the shop. Cutting to fit on site is how gaps and crooked posts happen.

We say no when it’s wrong
If frameless glass is the wrong call for your budget, or a handrail will be required whether you want one or not, we tell you before you’ve paid a deposit. It’s cheaper for both of us to hear it early.
What we don’t do
What we don’t do
No decks, no landscaping and no general contracting. We’re happy to work alongside your deck builder, landscaper or contractor, and most of our jobs arrive that way.
We coordinate blocking, post locations and install order directly with them, so nobody has to open finished work back up. Keeping railings the whole business is the reason we can turn a front entry around in about two weeks.

Quality, for us, means the details you notice when you touch the rail: even gaps, square posts and clean welds. Durability means systems that hold up to Canadian winters, from tempered glass to 316 stainless and powder-coated aluminum. Standing behind the work means a written workmanship warranty, handed to you with the final invoice.
